First Dr’s Appointment – 3rd October 2014
I really don’t know where to begin as this appointment was supposed to be where we discuss hormone treatment and have bloods done etc, ready for hopefully on the next appointment to be allowed to have hormone treatment. But oh no not me, the Clinical Manager wanted to see me before I went into see the Dr and what a bombshell she dropped it turns out that I can no longer stay at the Laurels that I have no choice but to go back to Charing Cross, but what she said she would do was consent for me to have hormone treatment on this appointment to at least give me a fighting chance as she saw it as an execeptional circumstance so I would at least be on Testosterone while waiting for an appointment to come through from Charing Cross.
Feeling a little better I had the Dr’s appointment who wanted to go over again my history of being trans as she wanted to make her own decision, she understood that consent for treatment was being done, however I only come out with the consent for hormone treatment letter and nothing more, no blood test was asked for so I have a piece of paper that I can’t do anything with. So my next move is to look into going privately for hormone treatment.
