What is a packer?

When you hear talk about packers it’s referring to prosthetic packers that have been made to look and feel like a penis. Packers also come in a variety of colours, sizes, and textures. Some packers look incredibly realistic, while others offer the general shape of a penis but not much detail.

Packers can help a lot with lower dysphoria, giving them confidence when they go out. This makes them very popular.

Not only are they available as a packer, but they also have other functions as well. Such as stand to pee (also called STP) or using it for sexual play (Pack ‘n’ Play).

If you want to you can also make your own packer from items that can be found around the home (socks, gel-filled condoms, etc). These make the perfect starting point, as it can help you decide if packing is for you without spending money on a prosthetic packer.

What to use to hold the packer in place

Whether you have decided to make one of your own or purchased a prosthetic packer, you will need some form of a holder to keep it in place.

There are plenty of choices available from making your own from a sock and safety pin to briefs that have a packing pouch built in.

If you do not have some way of keeping your packer in place you can run the risk of your packer falling out of your boxers. This could be embarrassing should it fall down your trouser leg!
