FtM Transitioning Support

When we transition we all need support, people who we can turn too when we need them. To be able to speak openly about anything can be a huge relief and not feeling regret afterwards. During our transition and even before, there are so many questions that we need answers too. For those of us that transition many thoughts run through our minds;

  • Is there something wrong with me
  • Why do I have these feelings of incompleteness
  • Will people accept me
  • I don’t think I can do this alone

Things can be difficult when you begin to question your gender, and we think that there isn’t any help available. There is help provided through the Gender Identity Clinic and that help isn’t accessible till we get to the clinic. For some this can take a very long time, but some of us need advice and guidance from the very beginning.

There is help available for those of us that need to speak to someone. I have listed a few places below.
